The three largest US airways put flights to Israel from Illinois information

American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines have suspended flights to Israel as violence increases in the conflict between Israel and Palestinians.

Israeli air strikes hit Gaza and Palestinian militants in Gaza fired rockets at targets in Israel, including the main Tel Aviv airport.

United Airlines canceled flights from Chicago, Newark and San Francisco through Saturday. A spokeswoman said United will allow customers who have booked flights to Tel Aviv through May 25 to change their travel routes without paying a higher fare.

American Airlines canceled its daily flight from New York to Tel Aviv on Wednesday and Thursday and, according to an airline spokesman, offered to put passengers on flights at later times. Delta canceled flights from New York to Tel Aviv through Thursday.

Company officials said the airlines are monitoring the situation as to when they can resume flights.
